What if our youth will be a late arrival?Any youth who will be arriving to camp after the scheduled check-in time should notify us prior to the beginning of camp. Please text/call Courtney and/or Joe on the day of your arrival to provide an estimated time of arrival. Once arrived, your youth must check-in with us before their items can be moved into the dorm. Late arrivals must arrive between 7:30am-10:30pm.

Can I take my youth off campus during camp? All youth registered for the youth program must remain on campus during the duration of camp (with exception of our camp field trip). However, we recognize that at times local youth/youth with family on campus may need to leave for short periods due to family events. In these cases, the parent/guardian must sign out their camper upon departure from camp and upon their return so we are aware of the camper’s where abouts. **Youth who need to leave during camp will only be permitted to leave with a legal guardian or specified adult on their registration form.
-
When should we pick-up our youth from camp?Youth check-out will be between 12:30-2:00pm on Sunday, July 27th outside of the office building. We request that all parents/guardians (even those staying on campus) stop by the check-out station during the designated check-out time. Parents/guardians will be required to sign-out their youth before the youth is released from camp.

What is the dress code?At camp we strive to facilitate an inclusive atmosphere with our dress code that removes the pressures of fitting in and how we look so that we can focus on the mission of camp. Additionally, we believe that our dress code provides the functionality for successfully participating in all the activities that camp has to offer. We ask that all campers and staff (boys & girls) be mindful of these guidelines for clothing while packing: Shirts Must: Cover the back: no cutout backs or shirts that tie in back Cover the midriff: no crop-tops Cover the chest & sides: no deep cut tank tops Cover undergarments: no see-through shirts No spaghetti straps No offensive language/message or drug/alcohol related graphics Shorts/Skirts: Modest in nature and at least fingertip length Swimsuits: One piece or tankini (bring a non-white shirt to wear overtop if you only have a bikini) No Speedos or jammers *We reserve the right to ask a camper to change clothing if dress code is not being adhered to.

Can my youth bring their cell phone? We invite all youth campers to be fully present in the camp experience. We believe this can be best achieved by campers leaving their electronics at home. We ask that parents/ guardians please support us in these efforts by keeping your youth’s electronics at home. Should you choose to send your child’s electronics with them, they will be collected during the check-in process. Youth will be able to use their phones one time per day at 6pm solely for checking in with parents/family. Should you need to contact your youth during camp, the fastest way to do so is to call or text the Peniel Youth Directors, Joe and/or Courtney Wambach. Their numbers will be provided in the Welcome Guide. The youth directors are happy to let youth use a camp phone to call home should they need to contact you!
